What Methods of Payment Are Accepted?

We accept cash, check, and debit/credit card payments. For telemedicine appointments, only debit/credit payments are accepted.

If checks are denied at the bank due to insufficient funds then there is a $30 fee for reprocessing the payment. The credit card on file will be used to cover the amount on the check and the $30 fee.

Can I Use My Flex Plans or Flexible Spending Account to Pay for Services?

Our services are typically a covered medical expense under Flex Plans. Additionally, some plans may reimburse you for the cost of prescribed supplements. Please check with your Flex Plan administrator for specific information on what your particular plan will cover. 

Can I Use My Insurance to Pay for Services?

It depends on your insurance plan. Brook Schales, ND, PLLC does not submit insurance claims to insurance companies and requires full payment at the time of service. However, if your insurance company covers naturopathic care then your appointments may be covered. Upon request, you will be provided with a Superbill to submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement for your appointment. If you have a flexible spending account this can be used to pay for services as well. Please check with your insurance company for specific information on what your particular plan will reimburse.
